American Tourister brand products undergo rigorous testing to ensure that the outdoor products you choose meet the strictest industry standards. Therefore, in the event of any problem with your American Tourister product (“Product”) that you have purchased due to manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, American Tourister will, at its option, repair or replace the Product in accordance with the warranty terms set forth herein. The warranty provided herein applies only to the first purchaser or recipient of this Product during the period specified in the sales receipt of the warranty card (warranty card is attached to each Product upon purchase), from the moment of its purchase.

    American Tourister products are warranted only against manufacturing defects found in service and not damage caused by caused by misuse of the Product (for example, by transporting items not designed for), lack of proper care, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme heat or cold, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, and damage caused by transportation (for example, by air). While out-of-warranty service or repair of your Product may be performed by any company, American Tourister requires that you use only an American Tourister Authorized Service Center (“Service Center”) for warranty repairs. In the event of improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repair, this warranty becomes void.

    This warranty is worldwide and you can have your product repaired at any Service Center in the world. However, all costs associated with the delivery of the Product to any such Service Center, including but not limited to the cost of packaging, transportation and payment of applicable taxes, are at your expense.

    In order to obtain warranty service at any Service Center, you must present the original receipt issued when purchasing the product  or a properly completed warranty card. The Service Center gives its opinion on whether the American Tourister warranty covers the problem. If the warranty covers this case, you will be advised whether the Product is eligible for repair or replacement. Any such repair or replacement will be at the expense of American Tourister.

    The warranty is limited to the value of the Product. Product specifications are subject to change without prior notice. Product locks are only intended to prevent accidental opening of the Product during transit and should not be considered as a means of preventing theft of the Product itself or its contents, or tampering or entry by airline, airport or competent government officials. After the Product has been transported by any other person, it must be inspected immediately. If the Product is damaged in transit, you must file a claim with the shipping company (which is insured against damage to your luggage) at the point of arrival and, if possible, before clearing customs.
